The part seems well made, but the picture is misleading: In reality with the nut fitted only about 2.5 – 3 threads are exposed, compared to the illustration the shows about 6 threads.
This means it cannot be fitted through anything but the thinnest walls.
The only reason I bought these was for projects with thicker walls, such as almost every plastic enclosure known.
