Q:
Can you please tell me the percentage drop in transparency for yellow, green and blue lights assuming there is no loss for red light? Is there a transparency curve for the sheet?

Q:
Hi. I was wondering if you can vacuum form the clear perspex.
Asked by: tom aalders
A:
I've seen some youtube videos of people having a lot of success vacuum forming acrylic, so it should be ok. I imagine it depends on your equipment though.

Q:
What can this perspex be used for?
ie. Can it be vacuum formed or laser cut?
Asked by: Peter
A:
It works well for laser cutting with a 40W or greater laser. It is not suitable for vacuum forming however. You want high impact polystyrene for that.

Q:
Could I clarify with you please. If I have a light behind the Red Transparent perspex, will it shine a red glow through it? Which is what I want. Kind regards Phil Hodgetts
Asked by: Phil
A:
Hello Phil, If you shine a light through red transparent Perspex you will get a red light. Transparent Perspex is see through like clear Perspex but with a red tint. It will not diffuse the light in any way.

Q:
Hi, I am looking for a tinted perspex material that would let differing amounts of light through from a single to perhaps 6 or 7 layers. Would this product still allow some light from led lighting to pass through 7 layers?
Asked by: Fran
A:
I?'ve just piled seven sheets of the transparent green Perspex next to each other and if you hold it up to the light you can just about see the light, I suspect that you might be better with a maximum of 5 sheets if you want to get a noticeable amount of light out through it. But to answer your question you will get different light levels depending upon the number of sheets.
