Answered by the admin Hi Amal,

Thank you for your email, the answer is basically it depends on your local electornic recycling regulations. Some councils and so on will take electronics, others require them to be disassembled others will not take them. In theory there is no reason you could not recycle the speaker if disassembled as it is made from paper and metal with a magnet.

Answered by the admin Hi Alain,

Thank you for your question, in theory yes but it would be very quiet. You would need a full amplifier kit to play sound files through from your phone. One such kit that uses this speaker is on the link below for you.

Answered by the admin It would be possible to add a second speaker in parallel, this would make the load 4 ohms, rather than 8 ohms, but the amplifier can handle that (but not any lower). It won?t make it any louder, but could be done for aesthetic purposes.
  12. What is the output of these speakers? Could they be used as portable speakers for an MP3 player?
