This crystalline solar cell is finished with epoxy resin making it waterproof.

Connection is via solder pads on the back of the cell.

Dimensions: 60 x 60 mm

Current: 50mA max (typically around 15mA in UK!)

This is the solar cell used in our Solar Garden Light Kit.

    Answered by the admin Yes the 60 x 60 mm is the overall size of the cell. The active part doesn't go right up to the edge of the product. It is the section in the middle where the silver lines are. As long as you are careful to not damage the cell in the middle of the item then it would be possible to get rid of some of the material.
