The Kitronik Lesson in a Box® LAB:bit is an all-in-one laboratory for learning and delivering computing in the classroom. This pack is suitable for age 8 to 11, and is designed to be used again and again.

The Kitronik Lesson in a Box Primary Computing Pack is a complete set of electronics and teaching resources to enable successful Ofsted quality curricular-linked lessons with minimal teacher effort. The kit and teaching resources have been tried and tested by real pupils and developed with real teachers to save you time.

In developing this box, we wanted it to be affordable, useful and robust enough for teachers to use time and time again. The resources contain links to the UK and US curricula, and have strong links to science and computing.

The resources are set out in a teacher, user-friendly way, including lesson plans, presentations, example code and worksheets where applicable. These are supplied in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and PDF formats, which can be copied, modified and printed to suit your own teaching style.

All of the teaching resources will be available for you to access through a password-protected portal. Within this portal are the directories for each lesson and a ‘Start Here’ directory to help you get started with your Lesson in a Box®.
