This low-cost miniature piezo buzzer features a built-in drive circuit, allowing it to produce a clear, consistent tone from a simple DC supply. With flying leads for easy installation, it is ideal for alarms, indicators, and general-purpose audio signalling.

Unlike passive piezo elements, this version requires no external oscillator or PWM signal. Simply connect it to a suitable DC voltage and it will generate its rated tone automatically.

Supplied as a pack of 10, making it suitable for classroom use, prototyping, and production builds.

If your project requires a passive buzzer that you can drive with your own frequency source, you can find one here.

Answered by the admin Hi Geoff, It is difficult to say if it would be suitable, it depends on what the buzzer is that is being removed and also whether you need a buzzer with or without a drive. It could well be suitable but you would want to check with the original manufacture what the requirements are.
