Whilst many of our customers enjoy a well earned holiday during August, we're busy putting the final touches to some exciting new kits, and bringing you a couple of additions to our materials section. Here's a sneak preview of what's coming soon.

Bluetooth Compatible Stereo Amplifier

We've been working on a new addition to our popular amplifier kits. This bluetooth compatible amplifier helps you cut the chord from your mp3 player or smartphone, just pair the devices and play your music from anywhere. It'll come with the same 5W 65mm Full Range Speakers that are supplied with our 3W Class D Stereo Amplifier Kit so you know it will sound great.

BBC micro:bit accessories

E-Textiles Kit for the BBC micro:bit

We've been asked a lot for a simple e-textiles kit for the BBC micro:bit. This new kit has plenty of LEDs along with some conductive thread and some of our slim crocodile clips in case you want to make something that you can easily remove your BBC micro:bit from. You'll be able to make both our emoji bag and rocket themed countdown pencil case with the kit and much more.

BBC micro:bit Motor Driver Board - Version 2

Many of you will have seen our buggies and crane, which make great use of the motor driver board, but some of you have asked for a version that still allows you to use the rest of the pins on the board. Enter version 2. All of the pins on the BBC micro:bit are broken out in this new version, allowing you utilise all the pins on BBC micro:bit.

Blue Craft Foam Styrofoam Sheets

Though rigid and strong these Craft Foam Styrofoam Sheets are very lightweight and can easily be cut and shaped, making them popular with professionals and hobbyists alike. The ease with which these sheets can be shaped makes them ideal for model making, building fast prototypes, planning architectural structures, children’s art and making moulds for vacuum forming, to name but a few.
