  • If you spend over £200 (£240.00 including VAT, excluding large materials or lithium batteries) delivery is free within the UK.

Rest of the world

  • These orders are sent via UPS, and the cost is dependant on the service you choose at checkout. Alternatively you can choose the free collection option and have your own courier collect it from us. International orders can only be shipped to the registered card address. Please note: International orders may be charged import duty dependant on local import laws and duty rates. These charges are usually billed to you directly from UPS.

Collection

Hi Sophie, Unfortunately we have never tried this amplifier with a fabric speaker. In theory it may work, as this kit is an amplifier kit and would work in a standard project for amplifying an input.

Hi, Unfortunately as this isn’t a kit that we have developed we can’t confirm if this amp kit would be suitable. You would need to find out what amplifier is used in that kit and then find one that is equvilent.

Q:
Hi would it be possible to connect the power supply to a light sensitive sensor that when covered plays the tracks from the mp3? Also would it be possible to connect headphones rather than the speaker? This for an exhibition piece I would like to create but i'm not overly gifted in the electrical/technical side of things yet.. Hi Emily, The easiest way to do this is to connect the power to the following kit, https://www.kitronik.co.uk/2112-light-activated-switch.html then connect the output of this kit to the power of the mono amp kit. This would then mean when it went dark or light (depending on how you connected it) the mono amp would then be on. You could also connect headphones to the amp kit but you would need to ensure impedance rating is 8ohms or higher.
