This is an adaptation of our mood light kit which uses a colour changing LED. A simple 555 timer was also added to control the length of time the LED is on for. In this project the students cut a shade from card and coloured polypropylene. mood_light_with_auto_off_timer_aylesford_school_01   A power switch was also added to the base of the design.   mood_light_with_auto_off_timer_aylesford_school_02   mood_light_with_auto_off_timer_aylesford_school_03   Each student could change the design of the base and shade. mood_light_with_auto_off_timer_aylesford_school_04
