We know that building a project from the ground up can be intimidating, especially when designing around an existing electronics kit. That is why we are giving you the design files for three different Timed Drag Racer Module chassis! These are a basic design, a Formula 1 style car, and a traditional elongated drag racer!
Whether you just build the chassis as it is, or use it as a base to build the body of the car, this is a great project for hobbyists and for students alike!

Building Tips:
The assembly of the chassis is detailed on pages 17 to 21 of the teaching resources and can be applied to the other two chassis designs also. It should be noted however, that while the original chassis is front wheel drive, the drag racer and F1 car are both back wheel drive. As such, your rubber band should be attached to one of the back wheels instead of the front.
Suggested Materials:
The below items have also been used in the creation of these chassis! Please note that should you choose to use a different laserable material, it should be 3mm thick. The designs are made for this thickness.
