Same Day Dispatch
- Orders placed online before 3:00pm Monday - Friday (excluding public holidays and our Christmas shutdown period) are always dispatched the same day provided the goods are in stock. If the goods are not in stock we will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible to discuss a dispatch date.
Large Materials
- On all Perspex, acrylics, veneers, Styrofoam, polypropylene, plywood, HIPs, wooden boxes, and MDF sheets (except A4/300mm x 200mm size) a large materials charge applies per order.
- This is £6.95 (£8.34 including VAT) for most UK locations, £12 (£14.40 including VAT) for Northern Ireland and £18.00 (£21.60 including VAT) for UK remote locations.
- For a list of postcodes that will be charged the remote location rate: remote area list.
Rest of the world
- These orders are sent via UPS, and the cost is dependant on the service you choose at checkout. Alternatively you can choose the free collection option and have your own courier collect it from us. International orders can only be shipped to the registered card address. Please note: International orders may be charged import duty dependant on local import laws and duty rates. These charges are usually billed to you directly from UPS.
- Delivery times vary for international orders depending on the service selected and the destination. You can see the delivery time and cost at the shipping stage, or by using the shipping estimator from within the shipping basket.
Collection
- If you would like to collect your order, or use your own courier then there is an option you can select during checkout. We do not charge a packaging or handling fee for this service, and you will receive an email when your order has been processed, you can collect half an hour after receipt of this email.

Q:
What is the cut or scratch resistance of this sheet? I was thinking of using it with a vinyl cutter as the sheet I attach fabric on for precision cutting. But that wouldn't be possible if the sheet gets easily worn out when the blade travels along the surface. The pressure of the blade is variable, and more depends on what it takes to cut the fabric. so I suppose the real question is, how hard you have to press with a sharp blade to make a scratch?

Thank you for your question, I would say it wasn't that scratch resistant. You can cut these sheets pretty easily with a sharp knife or guillotine so you would likely cut through pretty quickly.

Hi Karin, It sounds like you want to use a process similar to vacuum forming, if this is the case you would be better with HIPS sheets as this is what they are designed for.

Thank you for your question, you need a sublimation printer to print onto polypropylene. This is basically a printer that applies the dyes with heat. You do need to have a printer able to perform sublimation printing and specific dyes and inks for it but you can normally easily google to find out if your printer is capable of this. Obviously polypropylene is also stiffer than paper so it would also need to be a printer capable of printing onto something like card.

Are these sheets fire retardant? Would it be possible to use this as backing for lampshade making?

Hi Pauliina, The datasheet and material datasheet for the product supplied by the manufacture state that the melting point is around 160B0C, with the Vicat softening point being around 145B0C. Unfortunately this is the only data we have regarding the material and heat.

Hi I was wondering if the sheet could be used on an external wall instead of painting? How would I attach it to the wall and would it stand up to rain snow etc.? How long would it last?

We don’t have any data to show how it would cope with the elements, it may become brittle or the colour may fade. Depending on the extremes in weather that the sheet would be exposed to would depend on how long the material would last. Also it would depend on how you wanted to fix it to the wall, a glue that is suitable for use outside and can be used with Polypropylene would be the most suitable option.
