Do I require 2 crossover boards for a stereo amplifier, one for each channel?
Do you have a basic drawing showing how these are connected I could have please?
Note: Although we no longer stock this product, we do still carry a wide selection of speakers and sounders.
A passive 100W 2-way crossover made with high quality components for excellent sound reproduction.
The crossover splits an audio signal into different frequency bands so that specialised speakers such as woofers and tweeters can be used to provide a higher quality reproduction of the music than a standard full range speaker can produce.
This model has clearly labelled terminals on the PCB. The input terminals are on one side of the board and the different output frequencies are labelled on the other side.
Yes the input onto the crossover would come from the output on the amplifier, and you would require 2 crossovers on a stereo amplifier, one for each channel. We have a tutorial on using the crossovers which can be found here, use-2-way-passive-crossover this should provide all the details you require.
