We would like to thank everyone who came to visit us on our stand. It is always good to catch up with current customers and to meet new people who have not used our products before. I just hope that we had chance to answer all your questions as at times you couldn't move for people who wanted to talk to us. For those of you who have never been the show it brings together a wide range of suppliers that sell products and service into the education sector in the UK. The show also hosts a number of work shops and seminars. These cover the whole range of subject areas that fall under design and technology. In addition there were also a number of special attractions. One of these was the Bloodhound land speed record car. The car is powered by a jet engine. The car was huge and not something I'd like to try and park! Another attraction was the Roaming Robots display which showed some good old robot wars action! Visitors even got the chance to take control of some of the robots themselves. See pictures at the bottom of the page. design_and_technology_show_3 design_and_technology_show_4

Bare Conductive

On the stand next to ours this year there was a new company who are selling an exciting new water based paint that is conductive! We can see this paint having a number of interesting applications. It can be used to 'paint' circuits on to virtually any material. We have now added this to our range. See the Bare Conductive product page for more information. If you are interested to see some of the crazy and fun ways in which the paint can be used then check out these tutorials and the video below.
