How to make a Dice Tower from Finnboard

Board game nerds rejoice! This beautifully simple laser cut project uses only one material, and is an extremely buildable and customisable project that is easy to add your own style to.

Read on and get ready to roll some dice! Use Emma's design, or modify it to better suit your needs.

We Have Used:

1

Check out the dxf:

All parts of this make are cut from one material - we’ve used Finnboard, but you can use any 3mm thick material of your choice.

2

Begin glueing on one side:

Lay one of the curved side pieces flat and grab the three internal panels - these are called baffles! Glue them in place using PVA as shown.

3

Add the front, back, and bottom of the tower:

As shown, glue the next three panels in place.

4

Now glue on the second side and the tray front:

Now that the other panels are in place, the last two can be glued as shown.

You’re done - let’s roll!
