The Pro Micro is an Arduino-compatible microcontroller with an ATmega32U4 on board. The USB transceiver inside the 32U4 allows us to add USB connectivity on-board and do away with a bulky external USB interface, making it much easier to upload your Arduino-compatible sketches to this tiny prototyping board for your Micro sized projects.
