We've added some great new products to the range recently that we can't wait to tell you about! So many in fact that this is a selection rather than the full list, so we avoid a TL;DR situation.

In the spirit of the original mission statement, the microbit goes to rural India for a series of workshops. The workshops were run by Timeless Lifeskills and delivered to children who would not have got the opportunity otherwise.

It's been quite a while since we last shared any new product news via a blog post. We've been so busy of late that we haven't done much to bring new additions to our range to your attention. The lure of attending shows and events has been too great, we love getting out and about and meeting as many people as possible!

The Kitronik June 2018 D&T update flyer is now out and it's chock full of great products! If you don't yet have your hard copy; we've also put it online for your convenience, access it anytime, anywhere and on any device that has an internet browser.

May the fourth be with you Gallery! It's not all work work work here at Kitronik HQ. Sometimes it's fun work fun! Which is the case this may the fourth, or Star Wars day as it is commonly known.

We wanted some new artwork for the office walls when we move to our new premises next month and last weekend I had spent the day with family at Highfields Park boating lake. I decided this would make an interesting piece for a laser cut map as the contrast between the water and land is easy to show. The same technique could be used for any area with both water and land in it.

It had to happen sooner or later but we've now outgrown our current HQ and we are now moving! A new HQ has been sourced and is now being prepared for our arrival. The move will allow us to expand our stocked range of products significantly.

This is a basic laser cutting guide for laser cut animals showing you how to turn images into DXF laser files ready for your cutter. In addition, we used Inkscape to sketch out a little stand so that once cut we could show off our laser cut animals in the best possible light! Learn how!

This step by step guide shows you how you might design and make a simple perspex box. We have used free design tools for this guide but we will also highlight an alternative method, using different software and browser-based tools.

Kitronik are heading back to ExCeL London, Royal Victoria Dock for the BETT Show 2018. We will be joined by 850 other leading companies, bringing with us ideas and tech to help shape the future of education.

We would like to wish all of out a customers a very happy Christmas and New Year from all of us at Kitronik. Thanks to you it's been a great year and we can't wait to see what the next one brings!

We'll be taking a well earned break over Christmas as usual this year. We'll be finishing on Friday the 22nd December at 4.30 as normal and we'll be back in on January the 2nd.

Nothing says it's Christmas quite like a Christmas tree, learn to make our 3D Printed LED Christmas tree for day two of our 12 Makes of Christmas. It's an easy project to make, once the parts are printed the job of putting it together shouldn't take many minutes.
