We first saw the prototype of this Minecraft inspired coffee table project when Martin Raynsford was in the office visiting. We were so taken with it that we arranged for Martin to take the material he needed so he could get to work on a full size version. Nottingham Trent University Design and Technology lecturers Sarah Davies and Alison Hardy recently created some new resources exploring bringing electronic fashion into the classroom. Have a look at how they set about bringing together electronics and textiles here.

New resources for teachers to confidently bring ‘electronic fashion’ into the classroom as part of the new design and technology (D&T) curriculum have been created through a research partnership between Nottingham Trent University’s School of Education and electronic components firm, Kitronik.
