Back in June 2014 we sold our 250,000th MP3 Mono Amplifier Project Kit, making it our best selling project kit so far! Having smashed the quarter of a million mark, we're dedicating this week's Newsy-Blog to the mighty Mono Amp Kit itself.

As well as being available to buy in kit form and also with the PCB pre-built, we have made the cutting files for our Vibrobug Kit available for you to laser cut your own.

Rather than manually picking surface mount components from a reel and placing them onto PCBs (which used to be the manufacturing process for our Electro-Fashion Sewable PCB LEDs), we have invested in a Pick and Place Machine to do all of the fiddly work for us. See the machine in action here!

At the UK Maker Faire 2014, LoveScience had several activities that families and young makers could get involved with, such as adding LEDs to animal and robot card templates using Electric Paint, painting your own ‘scratch and sniff card’, and learning how thermocratic paint works.
