The festive season approaches and we thought we'd share an interesting LED candle project sent to us by Graham from the 17th Barrow St Perran's Scout Group.

At Kitronik we're very excited about wearable technology and e-textiles, we stock lots of great e-textiles kits including Kitronik's Lilypad wearable Arduino.

This project uses our free pre-cut foam decoration and an easy sew LED to make a simple light up Christmas decoration. The lack of specialist skills needed to make this project make it quick to make and one that is ideal for beginners or anyone wanting an e-textiles project that is simple.

There have been stories in the news recently reminding people of the dangers of the dangers of coin cell, or 'button' batteries around young children, and to help remind customers we are now including the following reminder with all orders containing such batteries.
